BOILERMAKERS / FABRICATORS WANTED

Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking experienced boilermakers and fabricators to work at our client site based at Mt Thorley.

About the role:

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform fabrication duties and welding techniques and ability to pass a weld test
• Undertaking materials handling / processing and associated tasks with the emphasis on Safety, Quality, productivity, cost, continuous improvement, delivery and Environmental concerns
• Assist and work with maintenance and engineering personnel where required
• Undertake other tasks such as forklift operation, profile cutting, and materials management etc within capabilities and training, when directed to by Workshop Supervisor or other site management.

Applicants will have the following attributes:

• Recognised Trade Qualification essential
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment desirable
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Certified to Work at Heights (desirable)
• Certified to work in Confined Space (desirable)
• Knowledge of safe working procedures
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including D&A.
